Three new locations stretching from Cornwall to North Wales are the latest to join the Countryside Mobility hire network.
Countryside Mobility already has popular forest locations such as Haldon Forest, Forest Holidays and Speech House but these new locations extend these opportunities into new parts of the region – and beyond. They are featured in the latest episode of our podcast, Inside Out, which you can listen to here.
Coed y Brenin in Snowdonia, North Wales, has long been a popular destination operated by Natural Resources Wales and as part of its ongoing work to provide a wider welcome it has recently added Tramper hire. Although Countryside Mobility doesn’t have the resources for national coverage, for sites such as Coed y Brenin who have invested in their own Tramper (rather than needing lease one – as the case with most South West locations) we are able to offer our experience and practical support in helping them get the best out of Tramper hire. It’s fantastic to have such a beautiful location as part of the network and with additional longer routes anticipated to be added to the two existing routes we expect Coed y Brenin to become a real favourite.
Cardinham Woods has recently received a Tramper previously based at Haldon Forest (don’t worry there are still three available there!) and the early feedback has been fantastic. Although one of our most easily accessible sites (the A30 and A38 are just a few miles away) you’ll feel that you have completely escaped the cars and crowds as you enjoy exploring this mixed woodland on one of the three routes available.
Wyre Forest is a favourite walking and cycling location for many in Worcestershire. The historic importance of the Forest is reflected in it providing the name for the local council and it still covers an extensive area. Again a choice of routes are on offer of differing lengths including one where the children will need to look out for the Gruffalo. A great family friendly location to enjoy.
We’re delighted to offer these fantastic locations for you to enjoy – especially in the season of autumn where the changing colours just add to the appeal.
