Something a bit different to our normal partner locations – Mill Meadow Eco-Homes. This is a chance to stay in a luxurious lodge (featuring improved accessibility) and hire a Tramper to explore their beautiful grounds and The Spinney woodland.
For those looking to combine exploring by Tramper with a longer break, Mill Meadow is the perfect escape. Its lodge style self catering accommodation is popular with guests that have more limited mobility and is combined with Tramper hire to explore the extensive grounds. Add to this two other partner hire locations – Fyne Court and Hestercombe Gardens – on the doorstep and this could be the perfect getaway.
There are 360° and video tours of the accommodation to help you know what to expect.
Although smaller scale exploration than other hire locations, there’s still plenty to see and enjoy as you can take in the tranquillity of the fishing lake or head to The Spinney, a 7 acre woodland cared by The Woodland Trust.
The Spinney combines a historic arboretum with native woodland and a meadow. Its network of footpaths allows you to explore extensively using the Tramper.
Hiring the Tramper
If booking a stay at Mill Meadow be sure to mention that you will want to hire the Tramper.
The Tramper is also available for those not staying at Mill Meadow but this is only available through advance booking and due to staff availability the hire time will need to be pre-arranged to fit with the team being on site.
