Avocet chicks at Seaton Wetlands

East Devon’s Seaton Wetlands has shared news of avocet chicks hatching at the site – the first recorded in Devon ever! If you’d like to explore the site we’re pleased to say Seaton Wetlands is also home to one of our Countryside Mobility all-terrain Trampers.

Seaton Wetlands is a nature watchers’ paradise near Seaton in East Devon. A network of paths will connect you to various wetland features, an Information Centre and several bird hides.

Please note to avoid disturbance to wildlife, no dogs are permitted on site (except assistance dogs). Pre-booking is essential to avoid disappointment as staff are not always on-site and opening hours are limited. Users must have a working mobile phone or be accommpanied.
