National Trust Antony Announced as Latest Partner Location

As lockdown measures gradually relax, Countryside Mobility is pleased to be able to announce the latest addition to its hire network of all terrain mobility scooters (Trampers).

Located on the Rame peninsula in south east Cornwall, National Trust Antony is only a few miles from the bustle of Plymouth but feels in a different world. Its magical setting was selected as the film location for the recent Walt Disney film, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and visitors will now find exploring its natural beauty easier thanks to the Tramper hire.

Find out more about what’s on offer at the location page and listen to the feature in the latest episode of the Inside Out podcast.

Most Sites Now Offering Tramper Hire

Building on the handful of locations that able to continue operating for local residents during the full lockdown, the last two months has seen the majority of partner locations resume Tramper hire. A further group of locations will be able to resume on 17 May as the next phase of lockdown relaxation takes place.

Changed procedures and reduced staffing at many locations does mean that availability can be more restricted than previously but it is hoped that over time this will gradually increase. Booking ahead is all the more important – and in some cases, essential – so make sure you check the regularly updated ‘Current Availability’ list which provides site by site information.
