National Trust Glendurgan

NB: National Trust Glendurgan closes for the winter. Visit their website for details

Wander through the beautiful gardens in this sheltered valley on the southern coast of Cornwall to the fishing hamlet of Durgan with its views across the Helford River.

Big leaves and exotic flowers thrive in the jungle-like lower valley and sun-loving specimens enjoy the upper banks. In spring thousands of wildflowers carpet the sloping sides of this steep valley.

The all-terrain Tramper scooter makes exploring the steep slopes of these gardens possible for anyone who would otherwise struggle.

Opening Times
National Trust Glendurgan is open 6 days a week – closing on most Mondays apart from Bank Holidays and during the summer school holidays – from mid February through to early November. More details here

Hiring the Tramper
There is no fee at this location for hiring the Tramper but normal admission fees and parking charges apply for non National Trust members.

Reserving the Tramper is strongly advised to avoid disappointment and particularly important for first-time users who will need additional time to become a member including being familiarised with how the Tramper works. Two booking slots per day are available to reserve – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Call the phone number shown to book.
