National Trust Godolphin
Tucked away in one of the quieter corners of Cornwall, the Godolphin Estate combines a rich history with quiet countryside.
Part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site you’ll find reminders of Cornwall’s industrial past among the now tranquil landscape along a route that takes you alongside a river and through woodland. At this place once busy with prosperous tin mines, you’ll be able to explore the medieval garden, meadows and orchard.
For non-National Trust members, parking (£3 all-day) charges apply with admission payable for those wishing to visit the ‘Garden and outbuildings’.
Booking the Tramper – Important Information
As there is only one Tramper it is always advisable to book ahead especially for first time users who will need a little extra time from staff to complete the membership form and receive a brief introduction to the Tramper scooter.
Reservation highly recommended. Book a morning or afternoon slot by e-mailing godolphin@nationaltrust.org.uk giving as much notice as possible. More details on visits: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/godolphin/features/visiting-godolphin-what-you-need-to-know
This hire location is part of the Heritage Ability project – also operated by our charity, Living Options – which is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and aims to help heritage attractions across the South West be more accessible.
