Upton Country Park

Explore one of the most popular country parks in Dorset making use of the Tramper (all mobility scooter) hire. Located just outside of Poole, this award winning park offers woodland wanders and shoreline strolls.

The Tramper enables you to comfortably explore the 160 acres of the Park which also includes formal gardens, a Grade II* mansion house (with open days on selected dates) and tea rooms. There’s plenty for all the family to enjoy with Spurrier’s Play Park a particular favourite alongside regular activities and events.

Tramper Routes

Thanks to the investment that has been made in path surfaces, the majority of paths at the Park are suitable for the Tramper and so you will be spoilt for choice in choosing where to go. You’ll be provided with a specific map that shows where you can go.

The shoreside routes take you along Poole Harbour with a variety of hides and screened viewing points (one accessible to the Tramper, the others require the Tramper to be left outside and to walk in). The south of the Park provides wide spaces and sweeping views while the west is more undulating with woodlands, streams and Grove Lake.

Tramper hire is available Monday to Saturday (not Sundays) from 10am with a last return time of 4pm.

The Tramper is hired from The Welcome Centre which is next to the main car park – with plenty of accessible parking.

£2.50 for 2 hours. £1 per additional hour.
