The Route

You’ll follow the Bellever Forest Miles Without Stiles Route which lasts for around 4km (2.5 miles) and takes you on a circuit that takes in forest tracks and panoramic views. While today the location feels like an escape from the crowds the forest includes many examples of people living here in the past with over 30 hut circles in the Forest during the Bronze Age (4,000 to 2,600 years ago).

Mainly gravel tracks apart from some rough grass and unsurfaced path sections halfway round. More details about the route here.
