Parc Cefn Onn

Explore this much-loved park using the Trampers to make light work of its hillside setting

Set at the foot of Caerphilly Mountain, the Trampers will enable you to explore this popular park with ease making light work of its sloping setting.

Easily accessible by road or rail (Lisvane & Thornhill Station is just ¼ mile away) this historic park is located on outskirts of Cardiff. Its popularity is with good reason as the Grade II status park combines natural beauty with a fascinating historical backdrop, and a mix of native and exotic trees.

The Upper Park, originally laid out around 100 years ago by Ernest Prosser, Director of the adjacent Rhymney Valley Railway, is a particular highlight with its streams winding down the hill.

An extra bonus at this location is that the Trampers are fitted with an extra storage compartment – perfect for taking a picnic!
