Over 5 miles of Tramper friendly routes wind through ancient woodland, farmland, meadows and riverside paths. A variety of route options provide opportunities for either a quick hour long introduction or a chance to spend a whole day exploring the beautiful Cornish country estate. You’ll also be able to explore the formal gardens nearer the main house.
Afterwards enjoy refreshments at one of the two cafes on site.
How to hire:
Advance booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment (see the relevant contact details for Lanhydrock). This should ideally be at least 48 hours in advance – particularly during busier periods such as spring/ summer weekends and school holidays.

The Cycle Centre (where the Tramper was previously hired from) has now closed.
Hires now take place from the main Visitor Reception building which is just beyond the car park (close to where the shuttle buggy transports visitors to the house).
If the Tramper is booked in advance, it is possible to arrange a closer drop off point.
As the Estate is very large and routes on offer the opportunity to go some distance from the hire point, this hire site requires the Tramper user to be accompanied by a companion.
Hire are available between 10:30 and 15:00 with the last hire being issued at 13:30.
