National Trust Coleton Fishacre
NEW FOR 2024!
The Tramper will transform your visit to this beautiful property where gardens cascade down towards the coast between Brixham and Torbay.
Paths weave up and down the hill, through lush glades in a sheltered valley with glimpses to the sea. After exploring the gardens you can travel back to the Jazz Age as you visit the country home of the D’Oyly Carte family built in Art and Crafts style.
The Tramper will transform your visit, helping you up and down the steep hill that the garden is set on. Tramper routes take in the gardens and providing access to three spectacular viewpoints: the gazebo, Scout Point and Pudcombe Cove.
Booking and Hiring The Tramper
Initially the Tramper will be available each afternoon – with the first hire slot at 2pm. Each hire slot lasts 1.5 hours. You can then return the Tramper before exploring the house and enjoying the shop and cafe.
Advance booking is required to avoid disappointment. Call 01803 843235 or email coletonfishacre@nationaltrust.org.uk at least 24 hours in advance.
Walk up hires may be possible but this will be subject to Tramper and staff availability so advance booking is the only way of guaranteeing a hire.
There is no hire fee at this location.
