Coed y Brenin Forest Park

Enjoy the spectacular beauty of Snowdonia by hiring a Tramper at Coed y Brenin Forest Park!

The routes offered at Coed y Brenin provide an accessible opportunity to explore the forest, streams and waterfalls of this beautiful Park with friends and family. Each starts and finishes at the Visitor Centre which is equipped with an accessible toilet.

The Routes:

Afon Eden – A short route taking you down to the riverside where you can picnic or relax in nature

Cefndeuddwr – A short route taking you uphill to the Cefndeuddwr viewpoint with its panoramic views to Y Garn and the Rhinogydd mountains

Coming Soon! New for 2025 will be a new range of medium and long routes around the Forest offering outstanding opportunities to see this diverse forest.

The Park has long been a favourite with cyclists and walkers so we are delighted to partner with Coed y Brenin to offer this spectacular location.

Hiring the Tramper – ADVANCE BOOKING ONLY

Due to recent changes, the Visitor Centre is no longer staffed on a day to day basis. However, the Tramper will be available to hire on the days that the Forest Ranger is going to be working at the location. We are currently working closely with the Ranger to establish the best system for this but in the meantime the main recommendation is to make contact (using the email below) as far in advance as possible if you have a specific date in mind.

As payment cannot be made at the site the Visitor Centre the only option available for those becoming a member of Countryside Mobility will be a complimentary single use membership.
