Outdoor Mobility members
Outdoor Mobility is a scheme close to our hearts. We worked closely with the charity in its early days to help develop a service similar to Countryside Mobility for the North of England.
Today, Countryside Mobility is run by a small disability charity based in Devon, with most of our partner hire locations found across South West England. You’ll also find a handful of sites in the West Midlands, Wales and the South East – perfect for day trips or holidays.
Thanks to our ongoing partnership with Outdoor Mobility, we’re pleased to offer a reciprocal arrangement:
If you have an active annual Outdoor Mobility membership, you can enjoy temporary Countryside Mobility membership free of charge when visiting our region.

As we are a small, part-time team, please allow at least 72 hours for a response — longer if possible.
Unlike Outdoor Mobility, Tramper bookings are managed by each partner location. Browse our Locations page, choose your destination, and contact them by phone or email to reserve your Tramper.
Booking ahead is recommended, as most locations have limited Trampers and staff.
When you arrive, request a 2-week Taster Membership and show your promotion code to avoid being charged for membership.
You’ll receive a short Tramper induction and a paper copy of your membership form to keep for any other hires during your visit.

If you’re an active annual Outdoor Mobility member, we’ll provide a unique promotion code for a free 2-week Taster Membership. This covers your Countryside Mobility membership during your visit, so you won’t need to pay the usual fee.
This offer is only available to Outdoor Mobility annual members whose membership is in date at the time of their visit.
It cannot be used with:
Expired memberships
Single-use Outdoor Mobility memberships
Yes. While your Countryside Mobility membership is free, all other charges at the site still apply, including:
Admission or parking fees
Any Tramper hire fee (around a third of our sites charge up to £2.50 per hour)
Absolutely – there’s no limit on how many times you can visit.
However, you’ll need a new promotion code each time. Just contact us before your next trip and we’ll issue a fresh one.
If you’re based in the South of England, Midlands, or Wales and expect to use Countryside Mobility sites more often than those in the North, you may find it better value to purchase a Countryside Mobility annual membership instead.
