Heritage Open Days offer free entry at many Countryside Mobility locations

September sees the return of the 10 day Heritage Open Days festival with particular opportunities for those wishing to visit National Trust properties that are part of Countryside Mobility.

On dates between 11-20 September, over a dozen of our National Trust partner properties, plus the American Museum and Gardens, will provide free entry, as part of the 10-day festival!

Heritage Open Days runs every year in September to celebrate England’s rich cultural heritage, greatly expanding since its start in supporting the European Heritage Days festival.

If you’ve ever wanted to explore one of our National Trust partner locations,  but don’t have a National Trust membership, this is your opportunity to visit for less. Perhaps you’d like to visit the wooded valleys and heritage at Arlington in North Devon, explore the lush Glendurgan Gardens on the Cornish coast or take in the Cotswold views at Newark Park.

To help you plan, we’ve put together a calendar showing which location is offering free entry on each date. As always advance booking of the Tramper is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment (contact the relevant hire location directly).

We’d also love to hear about your adventures using the Tramper during these open days! If you have any stories you’d like to share, email info@countrysidemobility.org.uk or post them on social media tagging Countryside Mobility.
